When we try to create an ASP.Net project in Visual Studio 2005 on Windows Vista configured with IIS7, it displays some errors. Following are some of the errors that people are facing:

1. Unable to Start Debugging on the Web Server
This problem occurs coz Visual Studio 2005 cannot access the IIS 7 metabase.

2. The Web server does not appear to have the FrontPage server extensions installed.
This problem occurs coz Visual Studio 2005 tries to use Front page server extensions. It also disallows the debugging on the web server.

3. You must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer to access the IIS metabase.
This problem occurs due to security permissions of Windows Vista.

Above issues are becoming common these days coz every one is trying to shift from IIS 5 based Windows XP SP2 to Windows Vista configured with IIS 7.
